Guitarist Tina S Nails Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata

Tina S

Tina S is back demonstrating her virtuoso skills on the guitar playing the Third Movement from The Moonlight Sonata.

We first became aware of French virtuoso guitarist Tina S when we saw her video of Van Halen’s Eruption.  She shot the video way back in 2013 when she was just 14 years old.  Checking out her You Tube channel we found that she had been demonstrating her prodigious talent on the guitar since the tender age of 8!

Tina S has recorded a number of videos covering some of the best, and most tricky guitar rock and metal classics.  From Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd to Master of Puppets by Metallica Tina S continues to demonstrate that there is not much on guitar that she can’t do.  It is not just fast rock guitar that she can turn her hand to either.  If you are looking for something a bit slower then she has also covered tunes such as Someone like you by Adele and Norwegian Wood by the Beatles.

Well now Tina S is back with a new composition, which really shows of her ability on guitar.  The tune she has picked is much beloved of Neo Classical guitarists and we have to say she has really nailed it.  The speed metal guitarists favourite that she has chosen to cover is The Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven.

However, rather than the much covered first movement the piece, played by Tina S, is the 3rd movement from the Moonlight Sonata and was arranged for guitar by Italian Neo classical guitarist Michele “Dr Viossy” Vioni.  Check the video out below to see some amazing guitar playing.

Filmed by her guitar tutor Renaud Louis-Servais in the video Tina S plays her favoured Vigier Excalibur Custom guitar.  If you are looking for inspiration then we highly suggest you check out the video.  The only question we have is what next for Tina S.  At 17 years of age she has demonstrated that she is a truly accomplished guitarist.  Is there any piece of guitar music she can’t master?  We look forward to the time when she starts to release some of her own material.
