Fraser Guitars – Check out the Vintage Elite Series Prototypes

Fraser Guitars show off the prototypes of their Vintage Elite Series.

I don’t know about you but most of the time I am browsing things like Facebook I am not really concentrating. When I am in this state most of what I see just passes on by barely registering in my consciousness.  But, if you are anything like me, there are times when you spot something and there is a double-take as your consciousness snaps back into focus and recognises that there is something that might just be worth a bit of extra attention.  This happened to me over the weekend when I saw the picture of the guitar below…

I have to admit that I had quite a reaction when I saw the guitar and knew I had to find out a bit more about Fraser Guitars.

Founded by Dean Fraser, Fraser Guitars is based in Chorley, Lancashire. Fraser first found a passion for building guitars when he built his first instrument at the tender age of 14.  A 16 year career in the military helped him to refine his guitar luthier skills.  However, a couple of years ago he decided to take the plunge and pursue a full time career designing and building guitars.  Since founding Fraser Guitars he has designed and handmade over a hundred guitars and started to build a reputation worldwide for his attention to detail and the quality on all his builds.

Although he has specialised in building vintage guitars he has designed a number of unique instruments. For example he recently sold the prototypes of his Luminescent Guitar and Bass to American Hip Hop artist B.o.B.

Following the success of the Luminescent guitars Fraser Guitars are now working on their Vintage Elite series of guitars which really have caught my attention.

The guitars are re-interpretations of classics and all I can say is what a re-interpretation.  The Aluminium Telecaster caught my eye but then the vintage wood Telecaster with the cool looking antique hardware is just a truly amazing looking guitar.  The only thing I can say is I hope they sound as good as they look and when will they be available to buy?
