ESP 40th Anniversary limited edition guitars

The line up of the ESP 40th Anniversary limited edition guitars looks pretty tasty!

ESP 40th Anniversary is to be celebrated with the launch of some special limited edition guitars!

To celebrate their 40th Anniversary ESP have announced the launch of some pretty tasty looking guitars with a limited production run.  The new guitars, to celebrate the ESP 40th Anniversary, will be demonstrated at the 2015 NAMM guitar show later this month.

Founded in 1973 by Hisatake Shibuya the firm started out as a retail outlet called Electrical Sound Products (ESP) with a repair shop in the back.  The shop quickly gained reputation for the quality of their parts and repairs that they soon moved into crafting their own guitars.  From these early beginnings the Japanese guitar firm have built an enviable reputation for producing some truly inspiring guitars.  They have also gathered a talented array of some of the World’s most famous guitarists to demonstrate those inspiring guitars.

Well they certainly haven’t let us down with the celebrations for the ESP 40th Anniversary.  The new guitars which ESP are launching this year look amazing and I am sure will sound just as good.

The LTD EC-2015 and the MH-2015, both of which have a production run limited to 300 guitars, and the 7-string H7-2015, which has been limited to just 200 guitars, are all beautifully detailed and come with an extremely high technical specification.  With the amazing quilted maple tops, ebony fingerboards, real Mother of Pearl inlays, multiple bindings, EMG MetalWorks pickups and See Thru Black Satin finishes these guitars are designed to inspire and we certainly think they have managed to do that!  ESP are also launching two extremely limited 40th Anniversary ESP Eclipse guitars which are being handcrafted, in See Thru Black Sunburst and Tiger Eye finishes. Just 20 guitars are being made in each of the two finishes, making them perhaps one of the most sought after instruments of 2015.  All limited-edition 40th anniversary models include a special hardshell case and a certificate of authenticity.
